When I had to draw the U.S. Army soldier concept for our game, I looked at the most famous US corps involved in WWII: Marines, Paratroopers, or Infantry. Then I've seen the light: Rangers! For those who don't know who Rangers are, I can say they're tough guys trained to operate behind enemy lines, doing sabotage operations, raids, and assault missions. In few words the right guys to give support to Meta-Humans.
The uniform you can see on the concept is inspired by the Capt. Miller one, from "Save Private Ryan" movie. I only added a "retro" touch adding a M1917 Heavy Machine Gun, instead of the most popular M1919.
As for the Arischer Korps, we'll do variants for the legs pose, different weapons and alternate heads.
Quando ho dovuto creare il concept del soldato americano ero indeciso: Marines, Paracadutisti o semplice fanteria? Poi finalmente ho avuto l'illuminazione: Rangers! I Rangers, per chi non lo sapesse, sono quelli che effettuano operazioni di infiltrazione dietro le linee nemiche, portando a termine operazioni di recupero, sabotaggio e assalto. Dei veri tipi tosti insomma, le persone giuste da affiancare a dei Meta-Umani come unità di supporto.
L'uniforme che vedete è ispirata a quella del Capitano Miller di "Salvate il soldato Ryan". Ho aggiunto un tocco "Vintage" con la mitragliatrice pesante M1917 invece della più popolare M1919
Come per L'Arischer Korp tedesco sono previste varianti per la posa, le armi e le teste.
