Here’s the first miniature made for the War of Wonders MG, Dr. Nachtmahr (Nightmare).
The miniature, created with Greebo Games, is about 30mm in height (1/48 scale) and is printed on high quality white metal.
Nachtmahr will be released in occasion of our Indiegogo campaign and will be exclusive for our pledgers, who will therefore be able to own a limited edition figure for their Axis Forces.
Let's take a look at the miniature itself: the high detail level can be fully noticed looking at his mechanic arm, full of pipes, wires and joints.
Once painted, Nacthmahr unleashes all his evilness: he's ready to inject his experimental serums on his victims. This scientist’s real skill, however, is an ability to reanimate for a brief time the corpses of any dead soldier, bringing them back to fight under his control.
In the second picture you can see Nachtmahr fully painted and mounted; for a size comparison, he is shown here with two figures by Reaper Miniatures and Wargames Factory.
The 25mm round base will be the standard for human figures, but larger round bases (30 and 50mm) will be provided for bigger figures, such as Mobile Armors and giant characters.
Eccola la prima miniatura per War of Wonders, il Dottor Nachtmahr. La figura, realizzata in collaborazione con Greebo Games, è alta circa 30mm ed è stampata in metallo bianco di elevata qualità. Nachtmahr sarà rilasciato in esclusiva con il prossimo Indiegogo, e sarà riservato ai nostri backers che potranno ricevere a casa un pezzo in edizione limitata da aggiungere alle forze dell'Asse.
Ma diamo un'occhiata alla miniatura. L'alto livello di dettaglio è più evidente nel braccio metallico dove risaltano giunture, articolazioni e tubi che alimentano i servomeccanismi.
Una volta dipinto Nachtmahr sprigiona tutta la sua malignità, pronto a sperimentare i suoi sieri sulle proprie cavie. La vera specialità di questo scienziato è di rianimare per un breve tempo i corpi dei soldati per farli tornare a combattere sotto il suo controllo.
Nella foto 2 lo vedete, dipinto e imbasettato, a confronto con due figure della Reaper Miniatures e Wargames Factory. La basetta rotonda da 25mm sarà lo standard per le figure di dimensioni umane in War of Wonders, ma sono previste basette più grandi (da 30 e 50mm) per figure particolari, come Armature Mobili e modelli giganti.
